No Nonsense Cooking

Ease is so important when I am cooking. I absolutely LOVE to cook. It is one of the ways that I can truly relax. But I have to be honest, I hardly ever follow recipes, always do a bit of "this and that" to each meal, and prefer not to cook anything that takes too much time. I need Ease.

So for the past 2 years, I have found my crock pot/slow cooker to be super helpful for our family. Just throw a bunch of stuff in...4-6 hours later, a delicious meal. And, typically these meals are quite inexpensive. I sometimes plan my meal by what I have left in my fridge. I just hate to waste food!

Next time I make something in mine, I will do my best to remember to take pics, scribble down some recipe notes and post my creation. I just made my husbands favorite crock pot meal two nights ago, slow roasted pork...so you will have to wait a bit for this awesome recipe. But I did come across a great blog: A Year of Slow Cooking that offers tons of wonderful looking recipes. Let me know what you think!
